We only had one Fun Food activity this month. We made a pumpkin out of bread and cheese.

We love it when our older students use written expression skills for Show and Tell!!!!
Pumpkins!
We completed a Pumpkin Observation book from Bunting Books!
We checked to see if a pumpkin sinks or floats.
We measured how tall the pumpkin is.
We guessed how much the pumpkin weighed.
We counted the pumpkin seeds...
and made guesses of how many!!!
Then, Ms. Robin toasted the pumpkin seeds with a little oil and salt.
Yum!!!

Thanksgiving Day Manners!
It's never too early to start teaching good table manners.
First, we reviewed good and bad table manners
Then, we broke the children up into 3 groups.
Group 1
We played a game of sorting Good and Bad table manners.
Group 2
The children practiced setting the table!!
Group 3
The children glued food onto their plate making sure to have at least 1 item from all the food groups.

and Learning Time!!!
On Friday, we had our annual Thanksgiving Feast! What an amazing time to have our families together to share a feast and give thanks!!!
