Halloween!!!!

Science Experiments

The week of Halloween, the Kindergartners and 1st graders enjoyed several Halloween Science Experiments.  First, we took many different chocolate candy bars and predicted which one would sink or float.  Then, we tested our predictions.  Next, we had frozen hands with Halloween treats inside.  After pouring salt onto the hands, we watched them melt so we could get a treat!

 Ghost Volcanoes

We combined baking soda and vinegar to make little ghost volcanoes. 

Halloween Parade

We had our annual Halloween Parade with all different types of costumes, especially from the popular movie Frozen.

For Fun Food Friday, we made Witches Brew!!  It was delicious with our pizza lunch!

Fall Field Trip

Farm Field Trip

The children had so much fun going to the farm to pick pumpkins this year.  But, it was so much more than picking pumpkins...

1st - They went to the Chicken Coop and picked up the eggs.

2nd - They went cow milking.

3rd - They fed the animals.

4th - They planted seeds.

5th - They went on a hayride.

6th - They needed some time to rest and PLAY!

7th - They went down a huge slide.

Last - They picked their pumpkin!!

It was a great day!!
