Welcome Back!
We hope you all had a great summer! We are looking forward to an exciting school
year. This month our themes will be
“Back to School” and “All About Me”. We
will end the month with starting our theme of “Apples”. We will be working on colors,
identifying/ forming numbers and letters, sorting, sequencing skills, and
patterns.

Things To
Do At Home
Review work that comes home and talk
to your child about what they did each day.
Practice drawing shapes. You can use
crayons, sand or even shaving cream!
Help your child identify colors, even
in their community or the grocery store J
Label different sizes in every day
activities or occurrences, i.e. “Look at the Big dog next to the Little dog!”
Anytime you can incorporate our theme
into your conversations with your child, it is more exposure to the vocabulary
we are using at school.
