A HUGE welcome to Ms. Stephanie, COTA! Stephanie obtained her undergraduate degree from UNC Charlotte in mass media/communication studies in 2005. After her father suffered a major stroke in 2011, Stephanie was inspired to go back to school to pursue occupational therapy as a career. She obtained her associates degree from Central Piedmont Community College in 2015 as an OTA/L. Stephanie has experience working in multiple settings: SNFs, private sports practice working with hand/ upper body rehab, and in the school system. She enjoys all populations, but especially enjoys working with children and plans to gain more continuing education in sensory integration and self-feeding/oral motor techniques. Stephanie is a new mom of a sweet little boy and has been happily married to her husband for 2 years. They enjoy being outdoors, going to the beach, traveling and spending time with their lab mix, Allie.
