Back To School

It is that time of year! New name cards hung, new bulletin boards, new curriculum, and many new ideas to put in place this year!!!  We are so excited to see new and old faces and to hear about their summers.  

May

It is the end of school and the children finished the year with a blast.  For this month, the children learned about Mother's Day, Strawberries and Summer.

Mother's Day

In OT, the children learned how to help mommy sort her laundry by matching socks.

 Then, the children made a flower garden with their hand prints.

 The children enjoyed making cards and coloring pictures for their mommies.

The children went on their annual field trip to the Strawberry Farm.  

 The children played...

 had Strawberry drinks...

 went on a hayride...

 picked strawberries...

 played on a firetruck...

 and went through a maze.

At the end of the week, they enjoyed making the strawberries into a fun treat to eat.

April

In the month of April, we celebrated Spring and learned about Kings and Queens.

Science-time...
We learned about the life cycle of a butterfly.

Show & Tell...
The children shared many signs of Spring, kings, queens and castles.

Fun Food Friday...
We made a sunflower, butterfly, and crown.
