February

Our themes for February consisted of Valentine's Day, Pizza, and Dr. Seuss.  We had so much fun the week of Valentine's Day at ABC school!!!!  So much love!!!!!

For Fun Food Friday, we made a special pink drink with a twizzler straw.  

We had a special RED LUNCH with pasta, apples, jello, yogurt, strawberries and watermelon.  Great time to introduce new textures and taste to the kids!!

Valentine's Day Cards

The children had so much fun exchanging cards with their friends.  It was hard for them to control themselves from the candy too!

EVERYBODY LOVES PIZZA!!!

The kids learned about the Food Plate this week and loved talking about pizza.  They had fun making their own pizza for Fun Food Friday.

We hope the children love the week of Dr. Seuss as much as the teachers did!!!  All the books, all the rhymes....

For Fun Food Friday, we made green eggs and ham.

Some students, we didn't even see them eat.  It was just that good.

January

The month of January, we learned about Winter/Snow, Arctic Animals and Winter Sports.  

The children had fun in OT pretending to sled!!

For Fun Food Friday, we made a snowman and a hockey stick.

Show & Tell

The children loved playing hockey when one of their friends brought a hockey set in for Show & Tell.  

December

Each year, the school chooses a special theme for the month of December.  This year, our theme was 

"Oh Christmas Tree"

Before Winter Break, the children performed a Holiday Program for their parents.  The songs incorporated the theme "Oh Christmas Tree".  

Fun Food Friday

For Fun Food Friday, we made a Christmas Tree with Apple Cheerios, Marshmallows and Cinnamon candy.

Show & Tell

For Show & Tell, the children were given a Christmas tree to decorate.  We loved seeing all the colors, glitter and even family photos hung on their Christmas tree.

Holiday Program Time

The children were so anxious and excited about their parents coming to see them sing.  So we thought they could benefit from some extra play time in the gym.

Then it was time for the parents to come for the program.  And they sang...BEAUTIFULLY in their own way!!!
